Eric Mack is looking for anecdotes on How to kill collaboration & productivity with bad policy:
I'm preparing for an upcoming speech and I would like to collect some real-life examples of how bad policy decisions by management have killed collaboration. I invite you to post your stories here. Feel free to do so anonymously, if you wish. I'm just looking for examples.
I haven't an anecdote directly, but one of the things I've done in my KM class is to ask for activities that encourage or discourage trust in an organization. I think there is a direct connection between trust and creating an environment where collaboration can happen. And my PKM system isn't working very well today, as I cannot find the list I could have sworn I created during class.
